A May 2022 Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR) data bulletin where you can learn, among other things, that the fatal injury rate of construction workers increased by 11% by 2011 to 2020, workers over 55 had a 51% higher fatal injury rate than those under 55, and fatal injuries to Hispanic workers increased by 46% in 2020, while non-Hispanic worker fatal injuries fell by 6%. The report is a thought-provoking, sobering seven pages of construction safety statistics.
